Mike Beltz is a lifelong farmer who knows the satisfaction that comes from getting your hands dirty. Hard work and Red River Valley soil are in his blood. Mike’s running for the legislature to bring a commonsense, conservative perspective to Bismarck.
He’s an advocate for limited government: holding the line on taxes, supporting law enforcement, quality education.
The son of parents who regularly fostered young people, Mike knows firsthand the importance of strong families. There’s no doubt in his mind that people are the state’s greatest natural resource.
During the most recent 2021 legislative session, he sponsored ag-friendly bills, including added ability for producers to better protect livestock. Mike was recognized for his pro-business voting record, scoring a 98 on the Greater North Dakota Chamber’s Legislative Report scorecard. He’s a consistent champion for an all-the-above energy development policy, understanding that the United States should be selling energy to our friends and allies instead of buying it from our enemies.
Mike’s a longtime servant leader. He’s served on regional and national boards ranging from the US Dry Bean Council to chairing the ND Ag Coalition. He knows Agriculture and its importance to the region’s economy.
Mike Beltz is a life-long North Dakotan who will work tirelessly to grow our economy and protect our way of life.
